Senior Citizens Commission - Vacancy
San Mateo's Senior Citizens Commission has an opening. The Commission was established in 1986 to encourage, foster and facilitate programs for the enhancement of all matters relating to the social, economic and personal well being of the senior population. It recommends to City Council the establishment and funding of programs and service for senior citizens.

How To Apply
The Boards and Commission Vacancy Application is available for pick-up at the City Clerk’s office at 330 W. 20th Avenue, can be viewed/printed online or mailed upon request by phoning 650-522-7040.
Applicant Requirements
• Must be registered to vote
• Reside in San Mateo
• Are encouraged to attend a meeting of the Board/Commission they are applying to serve on.
